Case Study 1

– 19 year old boy, full grown, was scheduled for surgery

– Curvature was 75 degrees

– 6 months later now down to 55 degrees

– 1 year later now within normal limits 45 degrees

Most importantly, this was completed without a wedge. Which means, the bones are healthy and not at risk for curving again.

Case Study 2

– 1st X-ray 29 degrees

– 2nd X-ray 10 degrees

– 11 year old girl

– X-rays 6 months apart.

– 15 year old boy

– was scheduled for kyphosis surgery (the same type of surgery for scoliosis)

– Left Image, 85 degree kyphosis

– Right Image, both curvatures 45 degrees, no wedge.

– 1.5 years apart
